How old was he when you got him?
He was 8 months when he came to me, we started working with the rescue place when he was 5 months, but he had to get neutered and of course get him up here.

So someone surrendered him? Wow.
Yeah, the people that bought him initially said they didn’t want to train him. He was spending a lot of time outside, so one of their neighbors called this rescue place. They had spent a lot of money on him, but they just didn’t want to train him--so their loss, my gain.
Exactly. So did you take classes here?
Yeah, I did. As soon as he came up here I called about classes and got him in to day care.

Is there a favorite story or something sweet that he does?
He’s very sweet… I think if I had to say one thing about him, I’d say he’s always happy. When I got him I called the rescue place and said, ‘my God he’s so happy! if he had a saying, it would be: life is good.” And he’s always like that.
Another thing that’s sweet, every night I say to him “you’re a good boy Cooper!” He seems to wait for me to say it before he goes to sleep. He does so many cute things. He can be a devil too though!

What’s your favorite thing about day camp?
My favorite is that I’m relaxed leaving him here. I like that Beth runs a tight ship, I like that It’s PAWSible! is clean and that Beth always manages to find people I trust my dog with. Those things are important.
What do you think Cooper’s favorite thing about camp is?
Cooper loves the field.
