This is just some of what is included in your course.
Lesson #1
This lesson is all about starting off on the right paw with your dog. Learn how to train your new pup to his name so that he always gives you attention when he hears you. Learn how to teach your dog to let you take him by the collar. This is very important as there are many times in your dog's life where you will need to "grab" him to keep him from getting in trouble or to keep him safe. Also learn how to walk your dog with control anywhere.
Lesson #2
- This lesson will instruct you on how to teach your dog to sit and lie down and find a position at your side. Once proofed these can be behaviors that your dog offers to ask permission from you for all of the things he wants.
Lesson #3
- In this lesson, you will learn how to teach your dog to walk on a loose leash, have polite greetings and also how to “leave it” or “drop it” when asked.
Lesson #4
- You will learn how to teach the word “stay” to your dog. You will also learn how to fade out other use of food. We will continue proofing the words “leave it” in Lesson 4 as well.
Lesson #5
- You will learn how to properly proof the “stay” position and how to teach and maintain the recall (when your dog comes when called!). You will also get some final thoughts on continuing your dog training.

"I have an older dog with some bad habits, is it too late?"
No! You can make improvements with dogs of any age using this program!
Can this program help me with aggression or anxiety problems in my dog's behavior?
Although all dogs can benefit from this course, Basic Manners is not designed to help you and your dog with serious behavior problems like aggression. However as a student of my course, you will have the ability to sign up for phone consultations (at an additional charge).
