It’s PAWSible!’s Canine Play Haven   

It's a place to play, train, connect, and have fun!  Whether it's just for you and your dog, or if you're signing up to be with other dogs who have been vetted for compatibility, you can feel confident that participating will be fun and relaxing.

Who is eligible to participate at Canine Play Haven?

To keep it safe and fun for all, we need to know you and your dog! Here are some
options for us to evaluate and approve your dog to participate: 

• Take a class:  Enroll in a Basic Manners Class, an Ultimate Puppy Class 
• Do a Behavior Consultation or a Puppy Consultation
• In some cases, we can just do a meet and greet lesson offered here.   

What are the benefits of the field for you and your dog?

• I supervise ALL group meetings so I can make sure the dogs are interacting properly.  This is partly what makes this so safe for your dog to participate!
• Come to a nice spot in the country where you and your dog can practice some of the skills you've learned here, like recall, stay, and others.
• Visit a clean area where you can spend quality time with your dog off the leash!
• Book time for just you and your dog, or (if available to you) book time where other dogs will be present.
• We offer safe drinking water and water dishes (or you can bring your own)
• In the summer, we have 1 or 2 pools available that we keep clean and fresh.

What makes this new service so wonderful?

• It’s Safe.   Only It’s PAWSible! approved dogs are invited to join.
• It’s Clean.  No dirty dog parks for your dog to pick up worms or worse…
• It’s Fun!  Let's face it, we can all use more of this!  This is truly unique, as normally you either have to go to a busy “dog park” and not know who is coming, or you don’t have a secure fence for your dog to be off-leash.

You can play fetch with your dog in the field if it’s just you and your dog, or if there are 2 or 3 dogs in the same family, or good friends that won’t fight over toys, you are welcome to play.  
What to bring:

• Your chair if you want to sit, but we do have two nice benches that Wayne made.  
• If it’s allowed at that time, you may bring your dog's ball or Frisbee
• Your phone, take lots of pics and post on your FB page!
• Poop bags.  We will have places for you to throw your poop bags into.  We will also be selling poop bags if you forget your own.

If you have come here with your dog, all you have to do is sign up for your first session below.   If I don't remember you and your dog right away, I'll give you a call.

How do you sign up?

You will see that there are two calendars. One calendar is for individuals who wish to reserve the field exclusively for their dog, and the other is for scheduling potential group play and socialization, although we cannot guarantee that all slots will fill.
