Behavioral Consultations

Behavioral Consultations

Life with your dog should be happy, carefree and fun.

But there are certain types of behaviors that can quickly take the joy out of owning a dog, such as:

  • Overreacting to other dogs while walking on a leash
  • Puppy/Dog Chewing up your furniture and destroying your home
  • Fear aggression in puppy or dog
  • Extreme shyness
  • Separation anxiety in your puppy or dog
  • Territorial aggression
  • Dog to dog aggression
  • Dog Aggression toward people (loved ones or visitors)
  • Resource Guarding (aggression around items or space towards you or other dogs)
  • House-Training for your dog or puppy
  • Problems with a new puppy or dog
  • Your Dog barking at people or barking at other dogs
  • Your dog or puppy jumping up on people
  • Introducing your new dog to your family
  • And more!

If you’re dealing with any of these problems, you know how frustrating, embarrassing and just plain exhausting they can be. But here’s the good news: There is hope! You don’t have a bad dog and you’re not a bad owner. Your dog just has some behaviors that you don't like and those behaviors can be changed!

How does a Behavioral Consultation work?
If you’re tired of struggling with your dog’s undesirable behaviors, you’ve come to the right place. A private Behavioral Consultation with Beth Ostrowski-Parks, the founder of It’s Pawsible!®, will help you find answers in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Each consultation lasts 90 minutes, and is conducted at the training center. Because it’s important to keep stress levels low, Beth won’t ask to see the behavior you need help with. Instead, she’ll carefully listen to your concerns, observe your dog’s personality and temperament, and ask questions about his or her history, current behaviors and the changes you would like to see.

You’ll then receive a professional assessment of your dog’s behavior and a clear, concrete plan of action you can follow at home.

It’s as simple as that. No stress. No judgment. Just real solutions.

separation anxietyWhat happens after the consultation?
Most of the time, the behavioral consultation is a one-time event. You will leave the appointment with the tools, confidence and encouragement you need to create changes in your dog’s behavior.  You will also get a copy of our Dog Training DVD and multiple pieces of written material including our puppy and dog training booklet.

If you need extra help or prefer to work under the guidance of an experienced trainer, you can book another consultation, enroll in a group training class (if appropriate for your dog), or receive private training in your own home.   We can create a package for you.

Why work with Beth?
For over 20 years, Beth has worked with thousands of dogs of all shapes, sizes, abilities and behavioral issues. So she really has seen it all! Through behavioral consultations, group classes and private lessons, she’s helped countless owners live a happier, calmer life with their dogs.
