What our clients say about Day Camp
Why do we like to bring
Happy to PAWSible! Day Camp?
"We adopted Happy from a shelter four months ago. At one and a
half years old, he was not only very energetic, but seemingly
hadn't spent much time with other dogs. He's a real sweet
fellow, but he would lunge and pull at the sight of any dog
when we walked him on a leash.
After seeing him in Basic Obedience classes at
It's PAWSible!, Beth suggested that getting the chance to play
with other dogs at the Day Camp might help Happy's behavior.
So, we gave it a try and have been delighted with the results.
And so has he. He loves the place. Sure, he still gets pretty
excited when he sees other dogs, but it's much less of a big
deal to him (and therefore, to us).
In addition, playing all day at Camp really
lets Happy burn off energy. He comes home and is very mellow,
ready to just hang out quietly with us or snooze. He clearly
loves to spend time there (on mornings when we bring him
there, he gleefully hops into the car). It's a treat for us,
too - one day a week when we know he's getting more than
enough exercise romping and playing with other dogs.
